二月甲子，上谕辅臣：『蜀中一捷甚伟，自此益加警备，不可一日少缓。』丙寅，史嵩之复职。学舍有言：『但虑其复出耳，其人决不再用，其职度不可夺。』戊午，雨雹。庚午，以久雨，诏临安府发平籴仓米二万石赈粜。甲戌，上谕辅臣曰：『闻所在民生萧条，守臣不可不择，亦不可数易。诏三省、枢密院、六部遵照已降御札，应舍法用例等事，悉警革之。』丙子，以袭封衍圣公孔洙特添差通判吉州，不厘务。庚辰，上曰：『连雨未已。』槐奏：『臣等辅治无状，愿赐罢出，以答天谴。』上悚然曰：『此由朕之不德，卿等可相与举行实政，以格天心。如闻诸路多有滞狱，可严行戒饬。』诏监司、州郡决系囚，毋得淹延，狱官毋得兼佥，以妨本职。再拨平籴仓二万石损价接粜。出封桩库楮币二十万，令殿、步、马司给犒，其大理寺、三衙、临安府属县、诸酒库所见监赃赏钱悉蠲之。命从臣祷于天竺山。癸未，槐奏：『前日阴雨，陛下恻然念及军民而赈恤之，且有引咎之言，旋即开霁，所谓『禹汤罪己，其兴也勃焉。』』元凤奏：『天人感应甚速，望益加圣心。』上曰：『敢不益加敬畏。』诏举廉吏。诏令宣使核实，凡战多者、死事者，疾速条上推赏。初兵之地流离之民一应科征，悉与停免。
