五月甲辰，屯田员外郎张唐英为殿中侍御史里行，从翰林学士王圭、范镇之荐也。英宗初立，唐英上《谨始书》言：『为人后者谓之子，恐他日有引定陶故事公惑圣听者，愿杜其渐。』既而台谏官相次黜逐，圭、镇谓唐英有先见之明，故荐之。乙巳，置宝文阁学士、直学士、待制，以翰林学士吕公著兼宝文阁学士，右司郎中邵必为宝文阁直学士。先是，公著与必同编集仁宗御集藏宝文阁，故因授以此职。御史吴申言：『乞自今内外官并令久任，非经三载，不得迁移，以合尧舜考绩之法。』
