六月壬寅，集禧观灾。甲辰，陈佑通判滁州。翌日，曾布宣押视事，右司谏江公望对，遽曰：『陛下临御以来，易三言官，逐七谏臣，非天下所期望。』先是，佑因进对，上谓曰：『凡有公事，宜与江公望议论了乃来。』佑见公望，公望曰：『榻前一砖之地，是人臣对君父极言天下事去处。惟上不欺天，中不欺君，下不欺心，则可免戾。人各有知见，不必同，惟不可傅会。』
