五月甲辰，荧惑犯岁。秘书监何志同奏：『庆历间，尝命儒臣集四库秘藏叙次为籍，名之曰《崇文总目》。其书之总凡三万六百六十九卷。今一馆所藏，善否相揉，号为全本者，不过二万馀卷，而脱简断编，亡散阙逸之数亦如之。宜及今有所搜采，视庆历旧录及《总目》之外别有异书，并许借传。』从之。诏改立词学兼茂科。乙卯，彗出奎、娄间。甲子，诏：『蔡京权重位高，人屡告变，全不引避，公议不容。言章屡上，难以屈法。制曰：宜褫师臣之秩，俾参宫保之官。』京西转运使张杲言：『蔡州诸县有瑞麦，一茎两岐至七八岐者凡十亩。』具图十二本以闻。
