88  | 先天中，王主敬为侍御史，自以才望华妙，当入省台前行。忽除膳部员外郎，微有怅惋。吏部郎中张敬忠戏咏曰：「有意嫌兵部，专心望考功。谁知脚蹭蹬，几落省墙东。」盖膳部在省最东北隅也。 |
| 95 | 王湾登先天进士第。开元初，为荥阳主簿。马怀素欲校正群籍，湾在选中，各部撰次。后为洛阳尉。殷以疲和宕屎苍缰，为天下所称，最者不过一二。《游吴中江南意》云：「海日生残夜，江春入旧年。」诗人以来，无闻此句。张公居相府，手题于政事堂，每示能文，令为楷式。又《捣衣篇》云：「月华照杵空悲妾，风响传砧不见君。」所有众制，咸类若斯，非张、蔡辈之未见，觉颜、谢之弥远乎！《江南意》云：「南国多新意，东行伺早天。潮平两岸失，风正一帆悬。海日生残夜，江春入旧年。从来观气象，唯向此中偏。」 |
