3  | 永贞元年冬，刘辟阻兵，朝议讨伐，宰臣杜黄裳以为独任崇文，可以成功。元和元年春，拜检校工部尚书、兼御史大夫，充左神策行营节度使，兼统左右神策、奉天麟游诸镇兵以讨辟。时宿将专征者甚众，人人自谓当选，及诏出大惊。崇文在长武城，练卒五千，常若寇至。及是，中使至长武，卯时宣命，而辰时出师五千，器用无阙者。军至兴元，军中有折逆旅之匕箸，斩之以徇。西从阆中入，遂却剑门之师，解梓潼之围，贼将邢泚遁归。屯军梓州，因拜崇文为东川节度使。先是，刘辟攻陷东川，擒节度使李康；及崇文克梓州，乃归康求雪己罪，崇文以康败军失守，遂斩之。 |
