15  | 刘滋，字公茂，左散骑常侍子玄之孙。父贶，开元初为左拾遗，父子仍代为史官。贶依刘向《说苑》撰《续说苑》一十卷以献，玄宗嘉之。滋少以门荫，调授太子正字，历涟水令。吏部侍郎杨绾荐滋堪为谏官，拜左补阙，改太常卿，复为左补阙。辞官侍亲还东都，河南尹李廙署奏功曹参军。无几，丁母丧，服除，迁屯田员外郎，转司勋员外郎，判南曹，勤于吏职，孜孜奉法。迁司勋郎中，累拜给事中。从幸奉天，转太常少卿，掌礼仪。兴元元年，改吏部侍郎，往洪州知选事。时京师寇盗之后，天下蝗旱，谷价翔贵，选人不能赴调，乃命滋江南典选，以便江、岭之人，时称举职。 |
