70  | 二年春正月乙丑朔。丙寅，宣州观察使王质卒。乙亥，以吏部侍郎崔郸为宣歙观察使，以右丞郑浣为刑部尚书、判左丞事。庚寅，户部侍郎、判度支王彦威进所撰《供军图》，略序曰「至德、乾元之后，迄于贞元、元和之际，天下有观察者十，节度二十有九，防御者四，经略者三。掎角之师，犬牙相制，大都通邑，无不有兵，约计中外兵额至八十八万。长庆户口凡三百三十五万，而兵额又约九十九万，通计三户资奉一兵。今计天下租赋，一岁所入，总不过三千五百馀万，而上供之数三之一焉。三分之中，二给衣赐，自留州留使兵士衣食之外，其馀四十万众，仰给度支焉。」二月乙未朔。丙申，刑部侍郎郭承嘏卒。丙午夜，彗出东方，长七尺，在危初，西指。戊申，王彦威进所撰《唐典》七十卷，起武德，终永贞。庚戌，均王纬薨。辛酉夜，彗长丈馀，直西行，稍南指，在虚九度半。壬戌夜，彗长二丈馀，广三尺，在女九度，自是渐长阔。 |
