27  | 初十日，城外火如昨。黄鹄矶头观音阁，志称刘宋头陀寺故址，宋明之代，迭经兵燹，国初参政宋其修建，铸金（𥫗汜）秒大士法像，高二丈馀。巡抚常大淳以阁势峻嶂，逼接女墙，焚之。提督博勒恭武，列兵岳州城，贼至望风先溃。既奔至省，巡抚飞章劾之，逐居城外待命。晡后获奸人二。黄昏时有二舟自上流来，城上望见，以为贼至，喧呼开炮，已而知为故兵回船，乃已。 |
