1  | 嘉庆戊辰恩科，浙江学政刘凤诰代办乡试监临，闱后，人言藉藉，有「监临打监军，小题大作；文宗代文字，矮屋长枪」之对语。密旨查询，经巡抚阮文达公元以对语达天听，仁宗复遣侍郎托津等三人赴浙按问。刘获重谴，阮亦以徇庇夺官。谕旨中有云：「乡试士子，系由学政录送入闱，刘凤诰本当避嫌，何以辄将监临之事，交伊代办？」然以学政代监临，必在巡抚适有要公之时，终科举时代，末尝改其例也。 |
