6  | 祥符中，契丹使至，因言本国喜诵魏野诗，但得上帙，愿求全部。真宗始知其名，将召之，死已数年，搜其诗，果得《草堂集》十卷，诏赐之。魏野字仲先，其诗固无飘逸俊迈之气，但平朴而常，不事虚语尔。如《赠寇莱公》云：「有官居鼎鼐，无地起楼台。」及《谢寇莱公见访》云：「惊回一觉游仙梦，村巷传呼宰相来。」中的易晓，故虏俗爱之。野与孟津诗人李渎为诗友，野凿室于陕郊，曰乐天洞；渎结庐于中条山，曰浮云堂。皆树石清幽，各得诗人之趣。渎字长源，一日自孟津访别于野，曰：「数夕前，忽一人来床下，诵曰：『行到水穷处，未知天尽时。』予犹规其误曰：『岂非「坐看云起时」乎？』答曰：『此云安能起耶？』又非梦寐，亟窥之，空无一物，此必死期先报，故来相别。」遂痛饮数夕而还，还家未几而卒。 |
