77  | 柳州戴钦，字时亮。少聪頴絶人，读书过目辄成诵。为时文，下笔亹亹数千言，皆不经人道语。提学姚镆最爱之，甞置之左右，有就试者，辄命与同试，每曰：「戴钦作文佳思如泉涌，不知从何处得来」。既中乡试，乃为诗，即有佳句，逺近传诵。登第后益有名，人咸仰之。闽人丘养浩谓余曰：「君识戴时亮否？」余笑曰：「此余邻邑生，何为不识也？」丘复曰：「顷见其诗文，天人也，清新丽则有天然之趣，徐廸功以下不论也」。惜时亮不自重信，方士学神仙术，饵金石，毒发肤裂以死未死。前二日，推江西提学疏，未上，变作惜，又无嗣，余甞索其遗文于其侄希颢，将为梓行，希颢云：有叔歳贡某携入胄，监司业关中马理询，知为先叔弟，遂取其文集去，无副本因此遂失。今虽间有传者，要非全集也」。 |
