70  | 十一月甲申，元伯颜至常州，会兵围城。知州姚訔、通判陈照、都统王安节、刘师勇力战固守。伯颜遣人招之，不听。伯颜怒，命降人王良臣役城外居民，运土为垒，土至，并人以筑之，且杀民煎膏取油以作炮，焚其牌杈，日夜攻不息。城中甚急，而訔等守志益坚。伯颜叱帐前诸军奋勇争先，四面并进，攻二日，城破，訔死之。照与安节犹巷战，或谓照曰「城东北门未合，可走」照曰「去此一步，非死所矣」日中兵至，死焉。伯颜命尽屠其民。执安节至军前，不屈，亦死。师勇以八骑溃围走平江。 |
