44  | 壬戌，元军略饶州，知州唐震发州民城守。时，元遣使来取降款，通判万道同阴使所部敛白金牛酒，备降礼，微讽震降，震叱之曰「我忍偷生负国耶」城中少年感震言，杀元使者。已而元军登陴，众皆散。震入坐府中，元军执牍使署降，震掷笔于地，不屈，遂死之。郴州守赵崇榞寓居城中，亦死之。万道同以城降。初，江万里闻襄、樊破，凿池芝山后圃，扁其亭曰止水，人莫喻其意。及闻警，执门人陈伟器手曰「大势不可支，馀虽不在位，当与国为存亡」至是，元军执其弟知南剑州江万顷，索金银不得，支解之。万里赴止水死，左右及子镐相继投池中，积尸如叠。翌日，万里尸独浮出水上，从者敛葬之。 |
