1  | 宋魏岘撰。岘，鄞县人。官朝奉郎，提举福建路市舶。鄞故有它山一水，其始大溪与江通流，咸潮冲接，耕者弗利。唐大和七年，邑令王元暐始筑堰以捍江潮。于是溪流灌注城邑，而鄞西七乡之田皆蒙其利。岁久废坏，宋嘉定间，岘言于府，请重修，且董兴作之役，因为是书记之。上卷杂志源流规制，及修造始末，下卷则皆碑记与题咏诗也。按《新唐书地理志》，载明州鄮县南二里有小江湖，溉田八百顷。开元中，令王元纬置。东二十五里有西湖，溉田五百顷。天宝二年，令陆南金开广之。今此编称它山水入于南门，潴为日、月二湖。其日湖即小江湖，月湖即西湖。谓二湖皆王元暐所浚，而不言有天宝之陆南金，似有阙略。至其以元暐为元纬，以开元中为大和七年，则此编所载诸碑记及唐僧元亮诗，证佐显然，足以纠正《唐志》之谬，不得以与史异文为疑矣。此书在地志之中颇为近古，宋《四明郡志》尝采其说。然传本颇稀，几于泯没而无可考。明崇祯辛巳，郡人陈朝辅始得旧帙梓行，版亦散佚。首有岘及朝辅二序，而末以《四明志序》附焉，盖即从陈本录出者也。 |
