1  | 明瞿景淳撰。景淳字师道，号昆湖，常熟人。嘉靖甲辰进士，官至南京吏部右侍郎。事迹具《明史》本传。是集为其子汝稷所编，首卷《制稿》十一篇，《敕稿》二十七篇，葢即《明史艺文志》所谓《瞿景淳内制集》也。其制科集四卷，皆应试策论诸作。诗文集十六卷，则文居其十五卷，诗赋一卷，特附见备体而已。景淳清介自持，史载其与严嵩论胡宗宪，及不撰陆炳妻诰词，皆触忤权奸，无所惮畏。其制义亦名一时，至今有王、唐、瞿、薛之称，古文则非所擅长也。 |
