1  | 明马理撰。理字伯循，三原人。正德甲戌进士。官至南京光禄寺卿。事迹具《明史儒林传》。其书虽参用郑玄、王弼及程、朱二家之说，然大旨主于义理，多引人事以明之。朱睦㮮《序》称此书发凡举例，阐微摘隐，博求诸儒异同，得十馀万言。原书十有七卷，其门人泾阳庞俊缮录藏于家，河南左参政莆田郑絅为付梓。今本仅存七卷，《系辞上传》以下皆佚，案朱彝尊《经义考》已注曰「阙」，则其来久矣。 |
| 1 | 明马理撰。理有《周易赞义》，已著录。是集凡「文」六卷，「诗」五卷，「补遗」一卷，则有文无诗。理少从王恕游，务为笃实之学，故所诂诸经，亦多所阐发，惟其文喜摹《尚书》，似夏侯湛昆弟诰之体，遣词宅句，涂饰雕刻，其为贋古，视李梦阳又甚焉。《明史儒林传》载杨一清督学关中，见理及吕楠、康海文，大奇之，曰康生之文章，马生、吕生之经术，皆天下士也。则一清虽赏识之，已不以文章许理与楠矣。史又称：理名震都下，高丽使者慕之，录其文以去。葢亦以其人重之耳。 |
