1  | 明谢廷谅、周孔教、姜宏范同撰。廷谅字友可，金溪人。万历乙未进士，官至顺庆府知府，事迹附见《明史谢廷瓒传》。孔教有《中丞疏稿》，已著录。 |
| 2 | 宏范，临川人，仕履未详。千金堤在抚州府城东，当汝水之冲，即唐之千金陂，屡有兴废。万历五年，知府古之贤率属重修，廷谅等因述此志，以纪其事。凡《形胜》、《沿革》、《经画》、《人物》各一卷，《艺文》四卷，皆一时颂美之词也。 |

| 1 | 明谢廷谅撰。廷谅有《千金堤志》，已著录。是集上卷为诗，下卷为文，前有万厯戊子陈文烛《序》，称其学问日富，变化无穷，与胡应麟并称。今观其所作，亦颇工丽自喜，而边幅太狭，犹在《少室山房集》下也。 |
