1  | 明樊深撰。深号西田，河间人。嘉靖壬辰进士，官至通政司通政使。事迹附见《明史杨思忠传》。其以深为大同人，则因深以军籍登第也。是编成于嘉靖庚子。凡十六门，分子目六十有一。是时天津卫未分为府，兴济县亦尚未废。河间所属凡州二县十六，故今天津沧州、静海、青县、盐山、庆云、南皮皆并载志中。深自序称：「一方之山川坟土，习俗往迹，咸蒐辑罔遗。若夫述怪诞以表奇特，著事应以实祥异，增仙释以备观览，名教之所禁者，皆得而略焉。」其体例颇谨严。而采掇古事，不免贪多；假借附会，均所不免。仍不出明人地志之积习也。 |
