1  | 国朝汪士鋐撰。士鋐字文升，长洲人。康熙丁丑进士，官至右春坊右中允。《瘗鹤铭》在镇江府焦山之下，以雷震堕入江。其石破碎不完，故字多残阙，传本往往不同。又作书者或以为王羲之，或以为陶弘景，或以为顾况。自宋欧阳修《集古录》以后，著录者数十家，彼此讥驳，几如聚讼。而海昌陈氏玉烟堂帖本，尤为辗转失真。康熙丁未，淮安张弨亲至水澨，仰卧而手拓之。共得六十九字，较诸本独多。因为考证成书。后四十六年，陈鹏年守镇江，乃募工出石于江中，陷之焦山亭壁间。其石分而为五，所存七十七字，又不全九字，其无字处以空石补之。按其辞义，补缀联合，益为完善。士鋐因备采昔人之论，并引弨说而折衷之。以鹏年所出石本为图，列诸卷首，汇为此考，搜罗颇称详尽。 |
