国朝宋弼编。弼字仲良，德州人。乾隆乙丑进士，官至甘肃按察使。是集辑明代山东一省之诗，所录凡四百三十一人。其体例全仿朱彝尊之《明诗综》。其去取之间，则谨守王士祯之门径，纤毫不肯异同也。

国朝王士祯撰。宋弼等补缉。士祯有《古欢录》，弼有《山左明诗钞》，均已著录。是书士祯原稿，本草创未竟之本。弼所续入，务求其博，体例遂伤冗杂。
