4  | 方不加考辨，于伏湛下既书侯完嗣爵，而孝献时诸侯表内又别出一列侯伏完，殊为复舛。又《皇后纪》称完为屯骑校尉，建安十四年卒，子典嗣。是曹操弑伏后时完已先卒，故史但称操杀后兄弟宗族而不及完。方乃误以为曹操所诛国除，而于侯典一代竟不列入。又如汉寿亭侯世但称寿亭侯，沿习旧讹，未能纠正。此其考核偶疏者也。又汉制以太傅至将军为五府。自大将军、车骑将军、度辽将军以外，其馀杂将军号随时建置，见于纪传者尚多。乃于《百官表》内概不之及，颇伤阙漏。此其采摭之未备者也。凡此数端，皆为所短。要其经纬周密，叙次井然，使读者按部可稽，深为有裨于史学。《丰城县志》称方作是书，自题其堂曰「补史」。其深自矜重，殆亦非徒然矣。 |
