33  | 雷复，字景旸，湖广宁远县人。正统丙辰进士，改庶吉士，授行人。擢监察御史。升广西副使，分巡苍梧道。时藤县民胡赵成构集大藤峡猺贼，攻陷县治，荼毒一方。复承巡抚叶盛檄往讨之，擒斩成等。五年升山东左布政使。七年升礼部右侍郎。八年改右副都御史，巡抚山西。十年卒于官，赐祭葬如例。复清雅端谨，历任中外，所至守法度，循矩矱，无非分之。为侍郎未久，以短于敷奏出外。然在边行事多得宜人，至今思之。 |
