《卷六十三前蜀世家第三》
14  | 是岁正月，巨人见青城山。六月，凤凰见万岁县，黄龙见嘉阳江，而诸州皆言甘露、白鹿、白雀、龟、龙之瑞。秋九月己亥，建乃即皇帝位。封其诸子为王，以王宗佶为中书令，韦庄为左散骑常侍判中书门下事，唐袭为枢密使，郑骞为御史中丞，张格、王锴皆为翰林学士，周博雅为成都尹。蜀恃险而富，当唐之末，士人多欲依建以避乱。建虽起盗贼，而为人多智诈，善待士，故其僭号，所用皆唐名臣世族；庄，见素之孙；格，浚之子也。建谓左右曰：「吾为神策军将时，宿卫禁中，见天子夜召学士，出入无间，恩礼亲厚如寮友，非将相可比也。」故建待格等恩礼尤异，其馀宋玭等百馀人，并见信用。 |
