58  | 秋七月庚申，制百官不得计考增级，必有德行、功能灼然显著者进擢之。行，下孟翻。帝颇惜名位，羣臣当进职者，多令兼假而已；虽有阙员，留而不补。时牛弘为吏部尚书，不得专行其职，别敕纳言苏威、左翊衞大将军宇文述、帝改左、右衞为左、右翊衞。右骁衞大将军张瑾、骁，坚尧翻。内史侍郎虞世基、御史大夫裴蕴、黄门侍裴矩参掌选事，时人谓之「选曹七贵」。选，宣恋翻。虽七人同在坐，坐，徂卧翻。然与夺之笔，虞世基独专之，受纳贿赂，多者超越等伦，无者注色而已。注其入仕所历之色也。宋末参选者具脚色状，今谓之跟脚。蕴，邃之从曾孙也。裴邃为梁将，著功名。从，才用翻。 |
