34  | 十六年春正月乙丑，魏王泰上括地志。上，时掌翻；下同。泰好学，司马苏勖说泰，以古之贤王皆招士著书，故泰奏请修之。时泰奏引萧德言、颜胤、蒋亚卿、许偃等就府修撰。好，呼到翻。说，输芮翻。于是大开馆舍，广延时俊，人物辐凑，门庭如市。泰月给逾于太子，谏议大夫褚遂良上疏，以为：「圣人制礼，尊嫡卑庶，世子用物不会，与王者共之。周礼：王及世子惟膳不会，其他服物，世子犹皆会。会，古外翻。庶子虽爱，不得逾嫡，所以塞嫌疑之渐，除祸乱之源也。若当亲者疏，当尊者卑，则佞巧之奸，乘机而动矣。昔汉窦太后宠梁孝王，卒以忧死；见汉景帝纪。塞，悉则翻。卒，子恤翻。宣帝宠淮阳宪王，亦几至于败。见宣帝、元帝纪。几，居希翻；下同。今魏王新出閤，宜示以礼则，训以谦俭，乃为良器，此所谓『圣人之教不肃而成』者也。」孝经载孔子之言。上从之。 |
