90  | 乙亥，帝发洛阳；丁丑，次汜水；戊寅，遣李绍荣将骑兵循河而东。将，即亮翻。李嗣源亲党从帝者多亡去；或劝李继璟宜早自脱，继璟终无行意。帝屡遣继璟诣嗣源，继璟固辞，愿死于帝前以明赤诚。赤诚，犹言赤心。诚者心之实；言赤诚者谓赤心之实。帝闻嗣源在黎阳，强遣继璟渡河召之，强，其两翻；下强出同。此时召嗣源，嗣源必不敢前。道遇李绍荣，绍荣杀之。李继璟以死事君，以明父之心迹，得其死矣。 |
