63  | 循之初入寇也，使徐道覆向寻阳，循自将攻湘中诸郡。湘中诸郡，汉长沙、零、桂之地。荆州刺史刘道规遣军逆战，败于长沙。循进至巴陵，将向江陵。徐道覆闻毅将至，驰使报循曰：使，疏吏翻。「毅兵甚盛，成败之事，系之于此，宜幷力摧之；若此克捷，江陵不足忧也。」循卽日发巴陵，与道覆合兵而下。五月戊午，毅与循战于桑落洲，毅兵大败，弃船，以数百人步走，馀衆皆为循所虏，所弃辎重山积。重，直用翻。 |
