55  | 丁亥，赐钱元瓘爵吴王。元瓘于兄弟甚厚，其兄中吴、建武节度使元褄自苏州入见，元褄即传褄。元瓘嗣国，兄弟名从「传」者并改为「元」。吴越于苏州置中吴节度。薛史曰：唐庄宗三年升苏州为中吴军。见，贤遍翻。元瓘以家人礼事之，奉觞为寿，曰：「此兄之位也，而小子居之，兄之赐也。」元褄让位于元瓘，见二百七十六卷天成三年。元褄曰：「先王择贤而立之，君臣位定，元褄知忠顺而已。」因相与对泣。元瓘笃友悌之义，元褄知忠顺之节，兄弟辑睦以保其国，异乎夫己氏者矣。 |
