59  | 昭义节度使李长荣薨，上使中使以手诏授本军大将，但军士所附者即授。时大将来希皓为众所服，中使将以手诏付之。希皓言于众曰：「此军取人，合是希皓，但作节度使不得。唐人多读作如佐音。若朝廷以一束草来，希皓亦必敬事。」言若东草为节度使，亦必敬而事之。来希皓之忠纯如此，而其后不复见于史，必卢从史畏逼而去之也。中使言：「面奉进止，只令此军取大将拔与节钺，朝廷不别除人。」希皓固辞。兵马使卢从史考异曰：杜牧上李司徒书作「押衙卢从史」。今从实录。其位居四，潜与监军相结，起出伍曰：出俦伍之中而言。「若来大夫不肯受诏，从史请且句当此军。」句，古候翻。当，，丁浪翻。监军曰：「卢中丞若如此，此亦固合圣旨。」中使因探怀取诏以授之。探，吐南翻。从史奉诏，再拜舞蹈。希皓亟回挥同列，北面称贺。军士毕集，更无一言。秋八月己未，诏以从史为节度使。 |
