116  | 乙酉，加荆州刺史沈攸之开府仪同三司，攸之固辞。执政欲徵攸之而惮于发命，乃以太后令遣中使谓曰：使，疏吏翻。「公久劳于外，宜还京师。任寄实重，未欲轻之；进退可否，在公所择。」攸之曰：「臣无廊庙之资，居中实非其才。至于扑讨蛮、蛋，蛋，亦蛮属，音荡旱翻，毛晃曰：蛋，南夷海种也。范成大《桂海渔［虞］衡志》曰：蛋，海上水居蛮也，以舟为家。沿海蛋有三种：渔蛋，取鱼；蚝蛋，取蚝；木蛋，伐木取材。大率皆取海物为粮，生食之，入水能视。陈师道曰：二广，居山谷间，不隶州县，谓之傜人；舟居谓之蛋人；岛居谓之黎人。余谓巴、黔亦自有蛋人。克清江、汉，不敢有辞。虽自上如此，上，时掌翻。去留伏听朝旨。」朝，直遥翻。乃止。 |
