98  | 丁卯，南州刺史庞孝恭、南越州民甯道明、高州首领冯暄俱反，陷南越州，进攻姜州；合州刺史甯纯引兵救之。武德四年，以合浦郡之南昌、合浦地置南州，六年，改白州。合浦郡旧置越州，隋改合州，武德四年复曰越州，加南字以别会稽之越州也。《旧志》：桂州总管府所管有姜州，武德五年，以合州之封山县置姜州，贞观十年，废入越州。雷州，海康郡，本合州徐闻郡，武德四年置，贞观更州郡名。「庞孝恭」，《新书》作「庞孝泰」。 |
