107  | 五月癸巳，刘湛遭母忧去职。湛自知罪衅已彰，无复全地，衅，许觐翻。谓所亲曰：「今年必败。常日正赖口舌争之，故得推迁耳；今旣穷毒，谓母子相诀，则人理穷而罹荼毒也。无复此望，祸至其能久乎！」《考异》曰：《南史》云：「湛伏甲于室，以俟上临吊，谋又泄，竟弗之幸。」《宋书》无此事。按湛若谋泄，当卽伏诛，岂得尚延半岁！今从《宋书》。 |
