71  | 冬十一月，京师地震有声。十二月，命厰卫刺部院事。帝以灾异频仍，由部院政事不平所致，令厰卫密访以闻。于是尚书毛恺侍郎万士和等皆自劾求去，帝慰留。给事中舒化等上言：「祖宗设厰卫令，捕盗诘奸，非以察百官也。制驭百官，乃天子之权，而奏核诸司，责在台諌。今陛下委之厰卫，厰卫必托之番校，此辈贪残，恐开罗织之门，不可不慎」。帝不从。已而事竟寝。 |
