昻初为延绥总兵官，以骄横奸贪劾罢，有女弟善歌，能骑射，嫁指挥毕春有娠矣。昻因江彬夺归，进于帝，召入豹房，大宠、传陛昻，右都督弟炅、㫤并赐蟒衣，大璫皆呼为舅，赐第太平仓东熏灼动，京师都给事中吕经等言：「陛下果为皇储之图，自宜博选世族，使备嫔御，奈何溺卑汚以自亵？且闻昻及诸子弟出入宫禁，肆无忌惮，应对左右，殊乏臣礼，又树立徒党以为羽翼，小人之情无厌，失今不治，后悔何及？伏望将昻显示诛戮，并斥所入孕妇，庶几人言可息」。御史张淮、徐文华等亦以为言，未报，都给事中石天柱上疏曰：「臣等请出孕妇，未䝉进止，窃疑陛下之意，将遂立为已子。秦以吕易嬴而嬴亡，晋以牛易马而马灭，彼二君者，特出不知，致堕奸计，谓陛下亦为之耶？天位至尊，神明之胄尚不易负荷，而况么麽之子，借使以陛下威力成于一时，异日诸王宗室肯坐视祖宗基业与他人乎？内外大臣肯俯首立于其朝乎？望急遣出以清宫禁，消天下疑」。卒不报。帝每从数骑过昻饮，一日饮酣，召昻妾，昻以妾病辞，帝怒而起，昻惧，复结太监张忠进其妾杜氏，遂传升、炅都指挥，㫤仪真守备，昻喜过望，又进美女四人谢恩，然马氏宠后亦渐衰。质实，吕经，字道夫，陜西宁州人。张淮，南皮人。石天柱，字季瞻，岳池人。夏，大旱。
