起用言事谪降诸臣，时擢林俊、强珍为按察副使，命科道官闗者悉増补，南京吏部主事储巏因言先朝直谏诸臣既䝉轸念，起改官资，而前主事张吉、王纯、中书舍人丁玑、进士敖毓元，尚弃岭海蛮瘴之间，臣甚惜焉。又前进士李文祥，当陛下御极之初，倡衆敢言，冀益新政大臣，厌其少年，阳示培植而隂挫抑之，天下皆知非陛下意，方今増补谏官，乞召此五人，置之风纪论思之地，言论手采，必有可观。帝命部臣起用之。纯初以抗章留王恕，称恕社稷臣，忤㫖，贬玑、毓元应星变记，与张吉各陈时政，疏言过切直留中，谪玑普安州判官。毓元后谒选，得横州知州，中㫖降云南县丞。文详者，万安孙𢎞壁，同榜进士，安重其才欵之家，尝以诗规安安怒，帝即位，内阁拟登极诏书诫谏官母言事，文祥上对事，极论其非，比之李吉甫、王安石，安与刘吉，皆怒票㫖，授系剧县丞，厯练遂为陜西咸寜丞以去，至是，帝虽俞巏言，及吏部拟擢官，多为吉所紏驳，颇不尽起用，明年，文祥复以王恕荐，召为兵部主事、质实，横州，唐置，明属南寜府。咸寜，唐置，明倚西安府治东，今皆因之。储巏，字静夫，㤗州人。丁玑，字玉夫，丹徒人。敖毓，元新喻人。李文祥，字天瑞，麻城人。发明，自孝宗更新庶政，轸念言事，谪降诸臣，一时如林俊、强珍軰皆得起改官资，布列清要，于是储巏以丁玑等五人列诸荐剡，既从其请而召用之，何又任刘吉之隂为阻挠，俾丁玑卒滞逺州，而李文祥者，复待王恕上章，再荐，始召为兵部主事，及莅任未逾一月，遂假吉人之狱，阑入其名，竟至获罪而去，虽曰吉实为之，然果孝宗英察有馀，吉亦安能施其隂狡哉！夏四月，厘正祀典。
