18  | 三十九年，迁于定襄之盛乐。夏四月，祭天，诸部君长皆来助祭，唯白部大人观望不至，于是徵而戮之，远近肃然，莫不震慑。始祖乃告诸大人曰：「我历观前世匈奴、蹋顿之徒，茍贪财利，抄掠边民，虽有所得，而其死伤不足相补，更招寇雠，百姓涂炭，非长计也。」于是与魏和亲。四十二年，遣子文帝如魏，且观风土。魏景元二年也。 |
