66  | 张天觉尝乞择词臣，而言：「盖自近世，文馆寂寥。向者所谓有文者，欧阳修已老，刘敞已死。王圭、王安石已登两府。后来所谓有文者，皆五房检正、三舍直讲，崇文检书，间有十许人。今日之所谓词臣者，曰陈绎，曰王益柔，曰许将是已。臣尝评之，陈绎之文，如款段老骥，筋力虽劳，而不成步骤；王益柔之文，如村女织机杼，虽成幅而不成锦绣；许将之文，如稚子吹埙，终日喧呼而不合律吕。此三人者，皆陛下所用出词令，行诏诰，以告四方而扬于外庭者也。今其文如此，恐不足以发帝猷，炳王度」云云。 |
