14  | 凌统，字公绩，吴郡馀杭人。父操，从孙策征伐，常冠军履锋及权统事。从讨江夏，中流矢死，统年十五，左右多称述者，权亦以操死国事，拜统别部司马，行破贼都尉，使摄父兵。后从破山贼，权破保屯，先还。馀麻屯万人，统与督张异等留攻围之。统身当矢石，所攻一面，应时披坏，诸将乘胜，遂大破之。后权复征江夏，统为前锋，先搏其城，于是大获。拜承烈都尉。与周瑜等拒破曹公于乌林，遂攻曹仁，迁为校尉。又从破皖，拜荡寇中郎将，领沛相。与吕蒙等西取三郡，反自益阳从往合肥。为右部督，拜偏将军，卒。 |
