34  | 杨归厚为左拾遗。元和七年八月己丑，延英宰臣对讫，归厚次请对。时宪宗坐久，宣令后坐日对奏，归厚坚辞固请，宰相谕之不退，帝乃召见归。厚首论中官许遂振，次力诋宰辅，皆过激切，然而自求试，其词甚繁，逾刻而罢。十二月丙申，敕左拾遗杨归厚可国子主簿，分司东都。归厚好矜夸敢，言前请对时，帝怡色，优假之归。厚谓己得若已深，自责直诚章疏词述或过差。旧例，卿士婚嫁多借邮递院于京尹，府县亦为之设具。归厚将娶妇，谓已官处近侍，当动以闻，率然奏请，帝责其轻肆，遂黜焉。宰臣李绛营救之，帝怒益甚。李吉甫谢引用之失，方稍解焉。 |
