24  | 二十三年冬十月，大同边卒获叛人王三，上曰：「叛恶就擒，固义勇之效力，实神鬼有以默戮之。」加秉一真人礼部尚书，陶仲文为少师，馀如故。前此大臣无兼总三孤如仲文者。 |
| 28 | 二十九年夏四月，加封陶仲文恭诚伯。先是，春不雨，上以问仲文，仲文曰：「疑有冤狱。」时杨武知县王濂以罪坐绞，子策走京师，诬巡抚胡缵宗私隙，故入人罪。述缵宗《迎驾诗》有「穆王八骏空飞电，湘竹英、皇泪不磨」为诅咒。上怒，逮讯久不决。至是，因仲文言释之。是夜，漏下四鼓，大雨。明日，传旨封仲文，赐诰，岁禄一千二百石。 |
