12  | 以河南左布政孙燧为都察院右副都御史，巡抚江西。先是，俞谏以忤宸濠夺官闲住，宸濠谋益横，朘削百姓，辇珍宝结禁近以为奥援，及结连各洞寨逋贼，纵其流劫。镇巡藩臬以正自持者，必百计去之，畏祸者遂翕然依附。燧知大变将作，乃均徵赋，饬戎备，实仓储，散盐利，诸凡摧剥黎萌者，渐次削除。侦奸党置之法，以剪其羽翼。 |
