36  | 是日，封刘泽清东平伯。时左谕德杨士聪、卫胤文入直，语阁臣：「左良玉、吴三桂俱封，而遗刘泽清。且临清地近，可虞也。」阁揭上，得封。都察院左都御史李邦华至正阳门，欲登城，中贵拒之。李自成对彰义门设座，晋王、代王左右席地坐，太监杜勋侍其下，呼：「城上人莫射，我杜勋也。可缒下一人以语。」守者曰：「留一人下为质，请公上。」勋曰：「我杜勋无所畏，何质为！」提督太监王承恩缒之上，同入见大内，盛称：「贼势重，皇上可自为计」。守陵太监申芝秀自昌平降贼，亦缒上入见，备述贼犯上不道语，请逊位。上怒叱之。诸内臣请留勋，勋曰：「有秦、晋二王为质，不返，则二王不免矣。」乃纵之出，仍缒下。勋语守璫王则尧、褚宪章辈曰：「吾党富贵自在也。」初，闻勋殉难，赠司礼监太监，荫锦衣卫指挥佥事，立祠，至是，始知勋固从贼为逆也。 |
