77  | 三月，燕王率傅友德等出古北口，哨得乃尔不花等驻牧迤都，遂进兵。适大雪，诸将欲止，燕王曰：「天雨雪，彼不虞我至，宜乘雪速进。」癸巳，遂抵迤都，隔一碛，敌不知也。乃先遣指挥观童迳诣其营。观童与乃儿不花有旧，至则相抱持泣。仓卒之顷，我师已压其营。众大惊，乃儿不花等欲上马走，观童谕以燕王至，毋恐。乃儿不花与俱诣军门降，燕王降辞色待之，赐之酒，慰谕遣还。乃儿不花大喜过望，于是悉收其部落、马驼牛羊而还。报捷京师，上大喜曰：「肃清沙漠者，燕王也！」 |
