甲寅，兵部尚书、都督府参谋军事折彦质充端明殿学士、签书枢宻院事。朱胜非秀水闲居录云：堂馔自艰难以来，至为菲薄，赵鼎増厚十倍，日有㑹集侍从诸将，下逮省寺官，所喜者次第，召食堂厨公吏云：「日费香直且数十缗，酒馔不计也。如执政折彦质、刘大中辈，从官范冲、朱震、胡寅、魏矼辈，每酣饮，必抵暮方出省，创为巨杯，号升一杯，容酒一升，谓盏为者，俚语也。至是宰相不逮郡守，都堂成酒肆矣。胜非所云，不得其时，今且附彦质执政之后，其曲折当考。遣帯御器械钱愐往台州抚问其母秦鲁国大长公主，仍以银合茶药赐之。　诏伪造绫纸度牒，依诈为制书法断罪，用礼部请也。时以军兴配卖度牒于诸路，故条约之。
