51  | 壬申，秦桧请以军器监赵子厚兼权吏部侍郎。桧言今日宗室不可不崇奨，令聚于朝。上曰：「宗室中之贤者，如尝中科第及不生是非之人，可收置行在。如寺、监、秘书省，皆可以处之。祖宗以来，不用宗室作宰相，其虑甚逺可用，至侍从而止」。桧又奏乞依旧置宗学，教育宗子，上可之。 御史中丞兼侍讲杨愿言：「治道之要，在总核名实，名实未辨，则人材学术难得其真，此国家治乱之所繇分也。数十年来，士风浇浮，议论蜂起，多饰虗名，不䘏国计，沮讲和之议者，意在避出疆之行，腾用兵之说者，止欲收流俗之誉，甚者私伊川元佑之说，以为就利避害之计，慢公死党，实繁有徒。今四方少事，民思息肩，惟饰诈趋利之徒，尚狃于乖谲悖伪之习，窥揺国论，诖误后生，此风不革，臣所甚忧也！愿下臣章揭示庙堂，俾中外洗心自新，以复祖宗之盛従之」。 |
