21  | 曹端，字正夫，渑池人。永乐六年举人。为霍州学正。修明圣学诸生，服从其教，郡人皆化之，耻争讼。监司大吏必造谒，知府郭晟问为政，端曰：「其公亷乎？公则民不敢慢亷，则吏不敢欺」。晟拜受教，艰归渑、池、霍州诸生多就墓次受学。服阕，改蒲州学正。霍、蒲两州各上章争之，霍奏先得请，先后在霍十六载，宣徳九年，卒官，年五十九。诸生服心丧三年，霍人罢市巷哭，童子皆流涕，贫不能归𦵏，遂留𦵏。霍二子瑜、琛，亦庐端墓相继卒，𦵏墓侧，后改𦵏渑池。端为明理学之冠，学者称月川先生。 |
