14  | 度字彦法，年十九，中元丰二年进士第。为江寜尉，从学于王安石，安石嘉其有志不倦，以告之。秩满，调杭州録事叅军。时蒲宗、孟熊本相继为守，号刚严，帅事有过差，下莫敢辨，度数与争是否，二公更竒其能荐进之。嵗满，改知江寜府句容县、开封府太康县、湖州乌程县乌程嵗课，有羡法，当受赏，嵗终上课，輙除去，使仅及额而止，曰：「无寜计一身之私，而为方来之害」。选为鸿胪寺丞，迁诸王府记室，卒。度性清谨，自奉至约，日茹素未尝妄费一钱，惟䘏孤振乏，则虽费不计。子璇，擢绍兴八年进士第，未改秩而卒。侄璘，字季文，登绍兴十二年进士第，厯婺州义乌丞、知海盐县，通判池州，卒。居官有贤誉，能诗世其家，与苏后湖庠游尤厚。 |
