薛居正五代史

宋太祖开宝六年四月，诏修梁、唐、晋、汉、周书。其五代史者乃后人总括之名也。七年闰十月，书成，凡一百五十卷，目录二卷。监修者为司空、同中书门下平章事薛居正。同修者为卢多逊、扈蒙、张澹、李昉、刘兼、李穆、李九龄。见宋史及晁公武读书志、玉海所引中兴书目皆本各朝实录为稿本。此官修之史也。

袁彦传，有刘仁赡降之语。张保续传，亦有刘仁赡率将卒出降之语。薛居正五代史，周显德四年，世宗亲征寿州，刘仁赡上表乞降。是薛史原有此语。然薛史仅钞实录而未及详考事实。至欧史则已辨明仁赡之不降，实副使孙羽以仁赡病笃，诈为其书以降者，所以特列仁赡于死节传。今宋史袁彦等传尚云然，岂元人修史时，并欧史亦不检对耶？
