2  | 宁宗法天备道纯德茂功仁文哲武圣睿恭孝皇帝，讳扩，光宗第二子也，母曰慈懿皇后李氏。光宗为恭王，慈懿梦日坠于庭，以手承之，已而有娠。乾道四年十月丙午，生于王邸，五年五月，赐今名。十一月乙丑，授右千牛卫大将军。七年，光宗为皇太子。淳熙五年十月戊午，迁明州观察使，封英国公。七年二月，初就傅。九年正月，始冠。十年九月己巳，始预朝参。十一年，当出阁，两宫爱之，不欲令居外，乃建第东宫之侧，以十月甲戌迁焉。十二年三月乙酉，迁安庆军节度使，封平阳郡王。八月辛酉，纳夫人韩氏。十六年二月壬戌，光宗受禅。三月己亥，拜少保、武宁军节度使，进封嘉王。帝自弱龄，尊师重傅，至是，始置翊善，以沉清臣为之。绍熙元年春，宰相留正请立帝为储嗣。 |
